The Stafford Brothers are the epitome of international music success. Hailing from Australia, the brothers are the hottest exports to hit the United States and are currently ranked the #1 DJ duo in Australia for the 3rd year running.
Fresh of a successful reality show, Matt and Chris Stafford are conquering the American music scene with their fresh beats and unique sound. Their debut single ‘Hello,’ featuring Lil Wayne and Christina Milian went triple platinum, tearing up the charts and cementing their status as Billboard’s ‘Artist to Watch’ for 2015.
Despite such success, the boys remain incredibly down to earth and hardworking. Although they described it as “pretty special” to hear their song on the radio, “we are really pushing to get to the next level!”
Being the first electronic dance music act to sign to Cash Money Records, Matt said their dream collaboration would be with Pharrell Williams and Jay-Z. Yet outside their musical talents, the brothers are incredibly business savvy having their own clothing brand, nightclubs, online DJ training courses and radio show. Not bad for two boys who just wanted to play guitar in a rock band!
For most of 2014, the boys have been busy producing new music whilst on the road. Having performed everywhere from Mykonos to Ibiza with some of the biggest names in the business, staying true to their roots they said it was Byron Bay that took the title as one of the best places to perform a gig… and Australia couldn’t be more proud of our homegrown rock stars.
While they currently call LA home, the boys said they can’t wait to give Australia some love when they return to kick of their December tour and prepare to release some much-anticipated new music. There’s no denying the future looks even brighter for the world’s most famous brotherly duo!
