Haircare giant Joico has enlisted Australian personalities Jesinta Campbell and Lindy Klim as ambassadors for the brand’s newly launched “Turning Heads” initiative. Based on Joico’s trademark motto, Turning Heads is about the glamour in giving back, with a portion of in-salon Christmas Gift Set sales being donated to the Starlight Foundation. Joico’s seeks to grant wishes for sick children in the lead up to – and during – Christmas.

Being released in conjunction with the Christmas Gift Sets is a stunning photography collection lensed by renowned photographer Steven Chee. Hairstylist Richard Kavanagh fashioned six exceptional looks for the shoot with make-up guru Max May and stylist Margaret Zhang rounding out the creative team.

On working with “The Dream-Team”, Jesinta noted,” Every look we created was so unique and so different. I particularly loved the raw, undone look that Richard created for the last shot of the day.” Lindy “loved” the wet look hair styled by Richard Kavanagh’s expert hands, noting that it was “Really cool!”
Despite the exquisite Turning Heads photography collection, both ambassadors excitement lay in their ability to lend their star-power to assist in Joico’s Christmas Gift Set donation to the Starlight Foundation.

“Being a mother of three children myself, I jumped at the opportunity to play a small part in brightening the lives of sick children. Rather than a simple donation, those buying the Christmas Gift Set end up with a fantastic product and the added knowledge that they are easing the burden on the life of a sick child and their family.” – Lindy Klim.

“Being able to combine the glamour of my job with raising awareness for the Starlight Foundation is extremely rewarding. I’m looking forward to the release of the campaign and doing what we can for the kids.” – Jesinta Campbell.
