Sydney’s iconic Harbour Bridge came to life this morning as the thunderous roar of Supercars marked the official launch of the 2025 Repco Supercars Championship. In a breathtaking display, seven Gen3 Supercars, driven by some of the sport’s biggest stars, crossed the world-famous landmark under a NSW Police escort, bringing traffic to a standstill.

The convoy of championship-winning machines made its way from Macquarie Street in Sydney’s CBD to Olympic Drive north of the bridge, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling season opener at the Thrifty Sydney 500 at Sydney Motorsport Park from February 21-23.

Supercars and Superstars Take Over the Harbour Bridge

Supercars drivers Will Brown, Brodie Kostecki, Chaz Mostert, Nick Percat along with Cam Waters, Anton De Pasquale & Matt Payne piloted their cars across the harbour bridge this morning.

Adding to the spectacle, a group of special guests joined the bridge run, including Supercars Hall of Fame inductee Colin BondSunrise presenter Katie Brown, electronic music duo Sunset Bros, sports media personality Kat Sasso, and rising boxing star Brock Jarvis.

Supercars CEO Shane Howard hailed the event as the perfect way to introduce fans to a landmark season ahead.

“The Sydney Harbour Bridge is one of the most recognisable landmarks in the world, and there is no better way to launch our 2025 season than by showcasing our incredible race cars in the heart of the city,” Howard said.
