Supercars are set to return to racing in spectacular fashion with four back-to-back weekends of racing to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park.

After a three-month mid-season hiatus due to Australia’s challenging COVID situation, Supercars are set to return to racing in spectacular fashion with four back-to-back weekends of racing to be held at Sydney Motorsport Park.

With Sydney Motorsport Park’s various layouts and dedicated lighting, organisers are able to create a month-long spectacle of motorsport, kicking off on October 29 and going through until November 21, just before the six days of Bathurst.

It’s been a challenging six months for the sport with constant cancellations, restrictions, and unknowns, causing the championship calendar to be redrawn multiple times, with favourite rounds like the Gold Coast cancelled for their second year.

These events will finally see the return of night racing and fans with multiple races to be held under lights and various formats, and organisers plan to have fans at the events, with ticketing and details yet to be worked out.

These events will finally see the return of night racing with multiple events to be held under lights with various formats also being promised; organisers also are planning to have fans trackside for the first major events in NSW since early 2021.

Details on ticketing and what packages will be offered are still being drawn up. Still, we’ve been told you can expect multi-event packages, family packages, park and view, grandstand and general admission options to cater for all tastes and expectations.

Supercars have said they will be working closely with NSW health authorities around planning a COVID safe event and what requirements may be needed to ensure the safety of all staff and patrons attending the event.
