Pre-season testing for the 2022 Supercars season has concluded, with southern teams performing the annual shakedown at Winton in northern Victoria earlier this week.
Full-timers and co-drivers hit the track where Tickford Racing, Walkinshaw Andretti United, Erebus, Brad Jones Racing, Blanchard Racing, Team 18 and Grove Racing all tested their options for the upcoming season.
Reigning Repco Bathurst 1000 winner Chaz Mostert was among those testing and was joined by his newest Walkinshaw Andretti United teammate, Fabian Coulthard…
Coulthard, a Bathurst 1000 podium winner, was left without a drive when Team Sydney was sold to PremiAir Racing in the off-season and has been quickly snapped up.
This was also the first chance for Lee Holdsworth to test his new seat at Grove Racing after securing a full-time drive on the back of his Bathurst victory with Chaz and Walkinshaw Andretti United.
Teams from Queensland also took part in testing at Queensland Raceway earlier in the month in hot conditions and coincided with some gen three testings.
