If your mum prefers sweet treats and flowing champagne, the QTea High Tea at QT Gold Coast is a fantastic choice. Available on both Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 May with sittings at 11:30am and 2:00pm, this event trades traditional flowers for tiered towers of buttery baked delights and savoury bites. Pink High Tea at Sanctuary Cove
InterContinental Sanctuary Cove is bringing serious flair with its Pink High Tea at Cove Café. Guests start with a glass of Bimbadgen Moscato before enjoying elegant snacks like a slow-cooked Toowoomba beef brisket doughnut and lobster and tarragon vol-au-vent. Sweet options include raspberry macarons and classic lemon myrtle scones. Tickets are $89 per adult and $30 for children aged 5 to 12. For mums who appreciate a great view, head to The Exhibitionist Bar. From 10:00am on Sunday 10 May, you can enjoy an elegant high tea paired with sweeping skyline views. The two-hour experience features delicate savoury bites, sweet treats, and premium Tavalon tea for $80 per person. If you want to turn up the indulgence, you can upgrade to include a glass of champagne for $100 per person.

For a more traditional restaurant setting, Sofia’s Restaurant and Bar has curated an exclusive menu. A Playful Outing with Build-A-Bear
If you are celebrating with younger children, the Teddy Bear High Tea Buffet officially launches on Saturday 9 May. Running from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, the event includes a curated buffet, a glass of sparkling wine for adults, and a special drink for the kids. Best of all, guests receive one teddy bear companion per two paying guests. Priced at $105 per adult and $60 per child, this is a beautiful blend of nostalgia and family fun.
