It’s been two long years since our favourite TV personalities walked the TV Week Logie’s red carpet, but now the glitz and glamour of TV’s night of nights is back and returning to the Gold Coast.
After being postponed in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, the Logie’s are back, and this time they will be coming to you from the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre on June 19 part of the Star Precinct.
It’s sure to be an evening of stunning gowns, personalities and notable award speeches, all synonymous on this night of nights with all the action telecast on Channel 9 and 9Now.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said the return of the Logies was a significant milestone in the recovery of Australia’s burgeoning screen sector.
“Queensland is the home of the screen industry in Australia,” the Premier said.
“It’s great to have the Logies back on the Gold Coast in 2022 – our third time hosting television’s night of nights. I can’t imagine the Logies being anywhere else.”.
Managing Director Nine Queensland and Nine Northern NSW, Kylie Blucher, said: “We are delighted to have the return of the TV WEEK Logie Awards on the horizon again for what is shaping up to be a bigger and better event in celebration of Australia’s hard-working television industry.”
After a rough start to the year for Queensland,it’s a great opportunity for us to come together while at the same time showcasing the Gold Coast and our wonderful state”
