The Tax Office is a new late-night venue in Brisbane that's sure to impress. With its bespoke infinity bar, VIP booth seating, and late-night decor, it's the perfect place to party until the early hours.

Brisbane’s GPO precinct has roared to life once again with triumphant launch of TAMA and The Gatsby earlier this month, But hold onto your hats, folks for the third and final act has now been unveiled, and it’s bound to be a mischievous and vibrant addition to the city’s nightlife.Welcome, ladies and gentlemen to the Tax Office, a venue that promises to be a favourite haunt for intimate gatherings, group celebrations and those late-night revelries.

Located in Fortitude Valley, The Tax Office seamlessly fits in with its sister venues, offering an upscale dining and drinks experience that caters to all kinds of patrons. From mid-week dinners to casual after-work drinks, and all the way to after-dark fun on the dance floor with VIP booths and bottle service, this place has it all. The party doesn’t stop until 3am, thanks to a lineup of resident DJs and headline acts who know how to assemble the perfect vibe.

With its heritage architecture standing tall against sleek and upscale finishes, The Tax Office boasts a unique design. The recent soft-opening of “Stage 1” revealed a bespoke infinity bar, a soaring tower of bottles that seem to vanish into a kaleidoscope of colours and lights. The mixed seating arrangements offer a comfortable space to enjoy a casual or intimate meal while being in close proximity to TAMA’s kitchen.

But hold your horses, folks! There’s more to come with the completion of “Stage 2.” This section will house The Tax Office’s Late Night offerings, featuring additional bars, VIP booth seating, a mezzanine level, and late-night decor that includes an Australia-sized disco ball. The grand reveal and official opening on August 11th will be set ablaze by the beats of ARIA award-winning DJ Sgt Slick, who promises to bring the house down during the opening weekend.

Matt Keegan, the Managing Partner of Artesian, the force behind The Tax Office, can’t contain his excitement at the overwhelming support from Brisbane’s nightlifers. The response to TAMA and The Gatsby has exceeded expectations, and the nearing completion of The Tax Office will complete the GPO precinct’s puzzle. Keegan describes The Tax Office as a dynamic restaurant and bar that transforms into a high-energy late-night venue. From casual dinners to extravagant bottle service, this place will keep the good times rolling around the clock.

But it’s not just about the ambiance and party vibes; The Tax Office has got its food game on point as well. Executive Chef Richard Harris, formerly of Rockpool Group and Artesian, has designed a menu that reimagines timeless classics and serves up delectable small bites. The menu is perfect for sharing, with a wide array of flavours that can even seduce the most discerning diner.

If you thought The Tax Office was just about dining and drinks, think again. This place is geared up to provide a comprehensive Late Night experience across two rooms. For those seeking an escape from the week’s stresses and an elevated partying experience, The Tax Office will not disappoint. From bottle service to dancing, this place is a haven for night owls.

And hey, folks, you don’t have to wait until August 11th to experience the magic. The restaurant and bar offerings are already up and running, so head on over and secure one of those plush private booths for the ultimate VIP treatment. But wait, there’s more! In a grand gesture of celebration, The Tax Office has launched the ‘Shouting Brisbane’ initiative. They’re treating every Brisbane local to a round on the house, a $25 voucher to indulge in whatever tickles their fancy.
