Circle on Cavill have announced construction has commenced on the creation of their newest tenant, the highly anticipated bar and restaurant White Rhino, set to open this October.
The $3+ million, two-level bar and restaurant is currently being built in the prime site located within Circle on Cavill and will eventually have capacity to hold more than 500 patrons.
Director of advisory and transaction services, shopping centres and retail projects at CBRE Lewis Torkington, said the large-scale up-market restaurant and bar is set to shake up the Surfers Paradise hospitality scene and will place a welcomed spotlight on the diverse offerings at Circle on Cavill.
“White Rhino will provide a truly unique offering unlike anything the Gold Coast has seen before with trade operating from breakfast through to approximately 1am,” said Mr Torkington.
“The new venue will join a celebrated list of dining and entertainment venues at Circle On Cavill including Strike Bowling Bar, Holy Moley Golf Club, Knox Dining, Hurricane’s Bar & Express and the most recent addition, Poke California.”
White Rhino is the latest project of Gold Coast based Artesian Hospitality, whose portfolio also includes famous Surfers Paradise nightclubs Sin City, Bedroom and Havana.
Artesian Partner Matt Keegan confirmed the new venue will have capacity to seat approximately 220 guests and will be home to an elaborate waterfall bar feature along with extravagant 5.5 metre-high ceilings to accommodate established trees and lush greenery.
For those wanting a more private space, a staircase will lead guests to a decadent mezzanine floor within the venue complete with dining nooks and secluded seating.
“White Rhino will be a vibrant, up-market bar and restaurant that sets a new standard of service for Surfers Paradise. With its unique features, it will be a leading venue for dining and entertainment on the Gold Coast,” said Mr Keegan.
“With an open-air outdoor garden feel that transitions seamlessly from outside to inside, guests will be able to enjoy the delights of the bar but also seriously good food with an award-winning internationally regarded restaurateur on board to create the menu and run the dining operation; which will feature a decadent breakfast menu, bar snacks, tapas along with formal dining.”
White Rhino is being built from scratch with construction expected to continue over the coming weeks until its anticipated opening mid-October.
