Tasmania’s North West is preparing to come alive this April as TrailGraze returns for its fourth year. From 11–13 April 2025, this much-anticipated event promises a weekend of food, drink, and family fun, showcasing the incredible producers of the region.
TrailGraze, presented by Tasmania’s Tasting Trail, has become a beloved annual tradition, inviting locals and visitors alike to experience the diverse bounty of North West Tasmania’s food bowl. From fresh produce like fruits, nuts, and cheeses to premium meats, seafood, and artisan beverages including wine, cider, craft beer, and spirits, the event offers something for every palate.
A Celebration of Tasmanian Flavours
TrailGraze kicks off on Friday night with the TrailGraze Gala Dinner, a highlight of the weekend that will bring together some of the best produce in the region. Full details of the dinner will be announced in January, but it’s sure to be a culinary showcase not to be missed.
The event continues on Saturday and Sunday with producer activations dotted across the North West. Visitors can expect tastings, tours, and workshops designed to connect them with the region’s rich agricultural heritage and vibrant food scene. Whether you’re indulging in award-winning cheeses, sampling handcrafted spirits, or enjoying freshly harvested produce, the Tasting Trail offers a delicious journey through Tasmania’s unique food culture.
According to Scott Dornauf, Chair of Tasmania’s Tasting Trail and General Manager of Christmas Hills Raspberry Farm, this year’s program is set to be bigger and better than ever. “Our venues and producers have really upped the ante this year. There will be so much to eat, drink and experience along Tasmania’s Tasting Trail,” he says.
TrailGraze 2025 has been thoughtfully designed with families in mind, making it an ideal school holiday activity. The event coincides with both Tasmanian and mainland school holidays, offering plenty of opportunities for children to join in the fun. With face painting, treasure hunts, games, nature play, and crown-making experiences available along the trail, kids of all ages will be entertained while parents enjoy the region’s finest food and drink.
As Gabrielle Conti, CEO of West by North West, explains, “TrailGraze is set to bring the North West region to life over this exciting event in April. Our Tasting Trail producers have elevated their offerings to bring the essence of their produce directly to you, for an unforgettable weekend.”
