Westfield Coomera has just launched their own basketball court; the free to use public court is the latest destination for families, schools and sporting groups just BYO ball.
The custom court is a permanent 10x7m basketball court located just outside the centre, an exciting place for the community and will facilitate a range of activities, kicking off a series of basketball workshops for children.
The workshops are in partnership with the North Gold Coast Sea-Hawks during the school holidays, and once we’re out of lockdown, it could be the perfect place to take the kids for a day of ball, and you can take in some retail therapy.
There will be six sessions daily Monday to Friday throughout the School Holidays; W+ members can book a school holiday session for $5 per person or $10 pp for non-members. W+ members who book will also receive a custom Coomera Courts basketball key ring.
Once the School Holidays are over, the court at Westfield Coomera will be open to the public for use free of charge and open during centre hours; just BYO your ball and shoot some hoops.
