This week council has begun work on the Tallebudgera Creek Park, as part of a makeover that promises to improve access and facilities and meet the growing demand for the park.
The popular park will undergo a transformation that is set to make foreshore access easier for locals and visitors that may require assistance with their mobility. During the construction, there will be limited access to the park area though until December this year, however access to the carpark, creek and Tallebudgera dog beach will remain open.
The planned improvements of The Tallebudgera Creek Park are set to include
- New pathways and improved beach access.
- New Public amenities
- Changing places for persons with reduced mobility access
- New high quality all-inclusive playground
- Upgraded BBQ and picnic areas
- New tree planting
- Improved Green Spaces
