If you’re an Australian business relying on Xero to keep your books in order, it’s time to adjust your budget. Starting July 1, 2026, Xero is rolling out yet another round of subscription price increases across the board for its Australian users, with an email landing in users inboxes today.
Why the price hike?
According to Xero, the increase is linked to continued investment in the platform, including new capabilities designed to make the software faster, more insightful, and smarter behind the scenes, however many users a reporting annual increases and lack of loyalty or discounts for existing customers, but constant massive discounts for new users.
How much extra will you be paying?
The price adjustments range from $2 to $28 per month, depending on your plan. All prices are in AUD and include applicable taxes.

The fine print: multi-org discount removed
If you manage multiple businesses and rely on Xero’s multi-organization discount, you’ll want to take note: From July 1, 2026, Xero is officially removing the multi-organization discount for eligible subscriptions.
Existing promos still apply (for now)
If you currently have a standard promotional code or discount on your account, Xero will continue to honor it under the new pricing structure until that promo expires.
