Young Henrys, the iconic brewing champions of the Inner West, have recently launched a new addition to their core range – “Australia’s Coldest XPA.” This new tinnie is set to join the ranks of cult classics such as Newtowner, Hazy Pale Ale, Natural Larger, IPA, Stayer Mid Strength, Cloudy Cider & Ginger Beer.

The Cold XPA is born from the growing trend of “cold brew,” brewed at a lower temperature reminiscent of a lager. With its citrus and tropical aromas, a balanced bitterness, and a sessionable 4% ABV, the Cold XPA is full of body and life and boasts the essence of summer.

Crafted with a unique malt profile, including pale, carapils, and malted oats, harmonised by a careful blend of Topaz, Cascade, and Galaxy hops, the Cold XPA is brewed cold and enjoyed colder. It embarks on an icy journey fuelled with vibrant passionfruit and orange peel notes from local Australian hops. This deliciously drinkable frothy effortlessly claims to be the ultimate go-to for any occasion.

Young Henrys Head Brewer Jesse Searles said, “We wanted to bring in another offering for the upcoming HOT summer that was severely crushable, but that was also massively hop forward. We had been talking about doing this kind of beer style (which is pretty new) for a while now and felt like this was the perfect opportunity.”

The Cold XPA perfectly represents Australian culture, as Australian as servo ice bags, tweed bait, and singlets. It is Australian-owned and made, adding a touch of humour while capturing the good ol’ days of a nostalgic summer with friends. Young Henrys has been serving its people and the surrounding community for the last 12 years, and the Cold XPA is no exception. The brewery is committed to uniting people through community spirit and great beer and sees no better time to serve up extra cold tinnies than just in time for summer.

The beer is the perfect thirst-quencher for those hot summer days and is guaranteed to keep you coming back for more. The brewery’s latest offering can be found at your nearest pub and is available in 4 packs/cases exclusive to Liquorland, First Choice, and Vintage Cellars.

The brewing process involves a delicate balance between the malt, hops, and yeast to create the perfect flavour profile. Young Henrys has perfected this process over the years, creating some of the most iconic beers in Australia. The Cold XPA is no exception, with its unique blend of hops and malt, making a refreshing and hop-forward beer.

One of the unique aspects of the Cold XPA is its brewing process. The beer is brewed at a lower temperature, which gives it a unique flavour profile. The beer is then enjoyed colder, which provides a refreshing and crisp finish. The brewery is committed to providing its customers with the best possible experience, and the Cold XPA is a perfect example of this commitment.

The Cold XPA is a refreshing drop perfect for those hot summer days. Young Henry’s latest offering perfectly represents Australian culture, adding a touch of humour while capturing the good ol’ days of a nostalgic summer with friends. So, grab a Cold XPA and enjoy the essence of summer.
