You may have thought the Zombie apocalypse was over and done with and the mobile phones won, However we have just received a warning that the heard of Zombies are headed for the streets of Surfers Paradise this weekend.

With Fest-Evil a Halloween inspired event that will transform Surfers Paradise transform into a haunted paradise from October 26-28.

An initiative of Surfers Paradise Alliance, it is the first time the evil event will be held and promises to deliver three days of fun activities for all ages and wrapping up with a Zombie invasion with the official Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk.

Surfers Paradise Alliance CEO Mike Winlaw said ” Surfers Paradise Fest-Evila will be a safe and friendly atmosphere where children and adults alike get to pull on their favourite Halloween costumes and experiences the precinct as it’s never been seen before.”

Featuring face painting, horror make-up workshops through to spontaneous ‘ freak show dance routines, costume competitions and games, plus a host of 18+ after hour events.

The weekend will culminate with the official Surfers Paradise Zombie Walk, a frightful spectacle set to attract thousands of gory zombies, ghosts and ghouls who will drag themselves across our iconic city.
