A night of Rumars , colour and style on day three of QT Fashion Week and Awards

Despite Anzac Day yesterday there was a great turnout for day three of QT Fashion Week and Awards.

Rochelle from Rumar by Rochelle was first to blaze the trail with her collection

The ensemble of flowing colourful dresses was a product of the former model’s Euro-Polynesian upbringing.

Each dress was tailored to suit the versatility of wearing it to any occasion and suits all ages and all shapes and sizes.

The designer said: “my dresses are for any occasion… I designed them because I want my customers to look elegant at any time of the day”.

The extravagant flower headpieces were also a dominant piece in the collection.

Rochelle said they bring “a taste of culture” and give a goddess look to the assortment.

Niki Teljega’s creative and modern designs showcased directly after Rumar by Rochelle.

The collection featured the sweet innocence of playful girlie dresses to an element of edge using blacks, silvers and gold’s.

The young designer with over four years experience said: “it is essentially for the everyday woman…it combines elements of different personalities in each garment…each garment makes a girl feel confident in some way”.

Daniah Medallada a personal fashion stylist, blogger and retail assistant said that all the fashion shows so far have been a real “eye opener” and all the designs are “definitely glamorous and unique”.

It was then a showdown between two highly anticipated designers Kelli Wharton with her Talulah collection and Ingrid Epitro with her Minty Meets Munt ensemble.

Ms Wharton’s collection was the epitome of femininity and playfulness rolled into one.

With an array of soft colours such as baby pinks, light blues and purples it encapsulated beauty and radiated a subtle confidence through the designs.

Each Talulah piece absorbed an element of street style and contemporary looks that added a slight twist the brands sweet silhouettes.

Ingrid Epitro finished the night off with her ensemble of Minty Meets Munt.

The Sydney-based designer has a particular eye for unique fashion which was incorporated into the consistent flow of elegant pieces.

Ms Epitro’s love of colour and bold prints at affordable prices adds to her already fabulous collection that was most certainly a highlight of the evening.

Georgia Ansell, model and face of QT Fashion Week said so far the week has “been pretty hectic but a lot of fun and very rewarding…Minty Meets Munt has been my favourite so far”.
