Hosted in the renowned Palm Court of The Langham, this afternoon tea extravaganza showcases a rich tapestry of French gastronomy, expertly crafted using the finest locally-sourced Australian ingredients. One of Chef Johann’s personal recommendations is the Tarte Tatin, a reinterpretation of the quintessential French dessert. This version uses Queensland pineapples, nestled in a buttery pastry shell, as a delightful alternative to the traditional apple-based recipe. For those seeking a savory option, the Croque Madame provides a sophisticated twist on the classic French sandwich. The ‘Taste of France’ afternoon tea experience with Johann Vanier will be available throughout the month of June. However, due to its popularity, there are only a limited number of seatings available each day. Weekday prices are set at $109 per person, while weekend prices are $119.
