Following her powerful performance at Coachella, Alison Wonderland unveils the video for her new single ‘Easy’, which finds her dancing her way through a storm, stalked by an unrelenting rain cloud that even follows her indoors. The clip, which was shot in Los Angeles, was directed by Bo Mirhosseni (Disclosure, Mac Miller), who helmed the video for ‘Church’, the first single from her new album, AWAKE. ‘Church’ has now achieved over 10 million streams globally, with airplay across Australia and 1.4 million video views.
AWAKE debuted at No. 7 on the ARIA Albums Chart and entered Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart at No. 1. In the lead up to its release, tracks from the new album racked up over 20 million combined streams.
Wonderland brought her writing and producing skills to each of AWAKE’s 14 tracks and was joined in the studio by a red-hot roster of collaborators, including Joel Little (Lorde), Illangelo (The Weeknd), Party Favor (Mad Decent) and long-time friend Lido (who also worked on Run).
