We are now all enjoying the easing of restrictions and looking for more things to fill our weekends; well, what if I was to tell you there’s an upcoming two-day Barbeque extravaganza coming our way.
Say hello to Smokefest, an idea born from the love of all things BBQ, a cold beer or two and some great food, the mates from Charlottes Weber who spend their weekends cooking some of the best Barbeque you’ve ever eaten and dishing out some equal sides of banter have launched their first event.
Smokefest Gold Coast will see 30 of Australia’s best BBQ teams competing across the weekend at Mudgeeraba Showgrounds; the event is also packed with Kids Rides and Cooking Competitions, Eating Competitions, Butchering Demos., Live Music and plenty of local beer and wine available.
Taking place on the 29th and 30th of May, gates open at 10 am and go through until 9 pm on Saturday and 6 pm on Sunday, so if you’re ready for a day of sticky fingers and greasy meat-filled smiles, get your tickets below.
Tickets are as little as $10 per adult per day or $5 for kids, and $25 for a family + booking fees.
