The Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach Presented by Bonsoy, Stop No. 5 of the 2025 World Surf League (WSL) Championship Tour (CT), is OFF for the day due to unfavorable winds and smaller surf on offer at both Bells and Winkipop. The WSL Commissioner’s Office will reconvene tomorrow,

“We are calling the event off today as the waves are small and the onshore wind is ripping it apart,” said Renato Hickel, WSL Deputy Commissioner. “We are going to come back and try tomorrow and make a call. Expectations are low for tomorrow, but we are hoping that with improved wind, there is enough energy to resume competition. If not, Monday, there is another bump in swell, so that could also be an option to run the remainder of the men’s Opening Round.”

The WSL Commissioner’s Office will reconvene tomorrow, Monday, April 21, at 8:15 a.m. AEST for a possible 8:33 a.m. start.
