This Friday during VIVA Surfers Paradise there will be the ultimate movie night to kick-start a weekend of festivities in the city, Circle on Cavill will host a free public screening of blockbuster musical Bohemian Rhapsody.
The big-screen event will see the Circle on Cavill precinct transformed into a sea of beanbags and popcorn as music lovers come together to enjoy the award-winning film about the rise of Queen and its legendary frontman, Freddie Mercury.
The event will coincide with the opening night of Viva Surfers Paradise, the 10-day festival that is a celebration of music, memories and moments of legendary icons including The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Elton John, Marilyn Monroe, Amy Winehouse and of course Queen.
Moviegoers will be able to pull up a beanbag from 5:30 pm, with free popcorn and fairy floss to be served from 6 pm when Bohemian Rhapsody lights up the big screen.
