Bonza Looks set to resume flights after regulatory approval
The airline earlier this month canceled several new routes from the Gold Coast and Darwin during the festive season. The company was forced to cancel many of their scheduled flights from the coast due to a hold up on regulatory approval for two Canadians planes from Bonza’s parent company.
This seems to have now been approved and Bonza is looking to resume flights.
Bonza Airlines marks a significant milestone this week as it launched its inaugural flights from the Gold Coast. The commencement of these flights sets the stage for an extensive network that promises to connect travelers to various destinations, starting with their first flight to Townsville on Wednesday.
This North Queensland jewel is just the beginning of an impressive array of new routes set to roll out from the Gold Coast base. In a strategic move timed perfectly for the peak summer season, Bonza Airlines will unveil connections to Albury, Melbourne Avalon, Bundaberg, Cairns, Darwin, Gladstone, Launceston, Mackay, Melbourne Tullamarine, Mount Isa, Mildura, Rockhampton, and the Whitsunday Coast.
With prices ranging from $49 to $79 per person for a one-way trip, these flights cater to diverse budgets and travel preferences. Passengers can now secure their seats through the user-friendly Fly Bonza app, making travel planning seamless and accessible.
The decision to establish Gold Coast Airport as its third base was announced by Bonza Airlines back in August. With two aircraft confirmed for operations from this iconic holiday destination, the airline signifies its commitment to expanding its presence and offering unparalleled travel opportunities.
