Burleigh Town Hotel re-opens after multi-million dollar renovation.

The newly transformed Burleigh Town Hotel has undergone a massive renovation; with a new beer garden, family-friendly bistro and sports bar, it is a new lease of life for the favourite Queensland watering hole, formerly named the Burleigh Town Tavern.

The newly opened Burleigh Town Hotel has undergone a massive $4.5 million renovation, with a new-look beer garden, family-friendly Bistro, kids playground and a sports bar that has to be seen to be believed.

It’s a new lease of life for the local favourite, formerly the Burleigh town tavern, which has been a beloved fixture of the Burleigh Heads community since its opening in 1981.

The epic new Beer Garden is an excellent place for those of all ages, whether you’re looking to catch up with a few friends and have a couple of drinks, or you have the kids with you and you’re looking to enjoy a meal while the kids remain entertained for hours by the adjoining playground.

The pub has also received a massive upgrade to the venue’s Sports Bar, featuring two state-of-the-art screens, one an 11-metre mega and the other a suspended cylinder screen, ensuring perfect viewing of the game is possible from any vantage point.

It will certainly be the perfect place to enjoy a cold one while watching all the cricket, world cup and tennis action this summer.

Also part of the expansive renovations for the property is the live entertainment zone, a stage and seated area designed to bring back live music and support local performers and touring acts, a real entertainment hub for everyone.

The modern Bistro will offer a contemporary take on that pub classic delivering that classic Australian pub fare we all know and love with favourites like schnitzels, salads, burgers and steaks while also serving wood-fired pizzas with hand-stretched dough, all made in-house.

“it’s a gamechanger on the Gold Coast. We’re so excited to welcome local friends, family and sports fans to the new chapter of the Burleigh Town Hotel;” says Venue Manager Kim Moore.

This is the latest renovation for the Australian venue co, which recently completed an overhaul of multiple venues, including Coomera lodge Hotel,  Cleveland Sands Hotel, and continues part of their plans to revamp the Queensland pub landscape and expand their hospitality offerings.

To celebrate, the Burleigh Town Hotel is hosting its welcome weekend with a range of special events.

On Friday,  25th of November – Welcome Day.

Guests can enjoy complimentary roving canapes and refreshments and enter in the draw to win a Tradie Club Smoker & Accessories valued at over $1000, Plus a Stone and Wood Beer Garden Pop-Up.

On Saturday, 26th of November – Sports Bar Day.

You can enjoy an epic line-up in the Sports Bar with the largest pub screen in South East Queensland, The Stone and Wood Beer Garden Pop-Up, a Sports Bar TAB activation for those wanting to have a punt.

Today is dedicated to family, with kids’ entertainment, a live reptile show from 11:30 am, free ice cream, and face paintings on hand to delight the little ones.
