Get Ready, Gold Coast, Half Baked festival is back this August, bringing seriously live and loud music to the Burleigh Town Hotel. If you missed out on the massive April run, now is your chance to catch one of Australia’s best pub festivals.
What is Half Baked?
Think of all the best parts of a traditional music festival, like stacked lineups and huge energy, and cram them into your favourite local pub. Half Baked strips back the annoying parts of festival life. There are no multi-stage sites, no annoying lineup clashes, and absolutely no long travel days. Instead, you get great bands playing back-to-back on a single stage. It is the ultimate mix of festival vibes and the accessibility of a proper, intimate gig.
The Burleigh Town Hotel Lineup
Kicking off the weekend on Friday 14 August, the Burleigh Town Hotel will host a truly stacked bill. Leading the charge are Brisbane party starters Dune Rats. Known for massive hits like ‘Scott Green’ and ‘Too Tough Terry’, this trio has built a massive cult following through relentless touring and their reputation as one of the country’s best live acts.
Joining them is absolute pub punk-rock royalty, Cosmic Psychos. This legendary Australian outfit has spent decades perfecting their sound, writing iconic tracks about pubs and beer that have earned them global punk influence.
Also hitting the stage are Adelaide duo Teenage Joans, bringing their explosive punk energy and sharp songwriting. Queensland’s own Speira rounds out the announced lineup, delivering high-energy alternative rock and showing exactly why giving the next generation of artists a stage is so important.
Oh, and there is also a secret act yet to be revealed!
