Dreaming of sipping some of the best wine WA has to offer but not quite ready to spend fourteen days in quarantine for it? Well, Cape Mentelle, one of Margaret River’s finest wineries, is joining The Lucky Squire for a curated wine dinner featuring five courses and matched wines from this prestigious winery.
Taste some Humpty Doo Barramundi with citrus sabayon and asparagus, some lamb-stuffed gnocchi with beurre noisette and sage, or smoked beef with spring vegetables and a fabulous red wine jus gras paired alongside the exceptional vintages including the 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon and the limited edition 2017 Wallcliffe Merlot-Petit Verdot-Malbec.
Cape Mentelle is considered to be one of the top tier wineries in the region, and as one of the first five founding wineries, you’re certainly in for a treat. You may not get to sip vino among the vines and bask in the WA sunshine, but you will be walked through each wine by a representative so when the time to travel comes you’ll be somewhat of an expert.
