Casey Barnes is back in town and on tour with a range of dates across New South Wales and Queensland.

The Back in Town Tour has already seen Casey play a foot-stomping show at the Prince Hotel in Melbourne to a packed house of industry and fans and it just happened to be his first show in the area in two years.

The tour will take him to 10 locations including Sydney for his first show in two years at the iconic Paddington RSL and stopping in on the Sunshine Coast for the Red Hot Country Festival at Nightquarter before returning to the Gold Coast to blow the roof off Miami Marketta.

Regarding the upcoming dates, Casey’s said, ‘Restrictions are being lifted, live music is back, and I’m so excited to announce my Back In Town Tour, which is on sale now! We’ll be bringing along some very special guests for this tour, and we’ve been working hard to bring you guys a brand new live show which will see us performing all the songs you know plus some new stuff too!’

Casey’s success in recent years has seen a number of chart-topping singles and albums, a few ARIA and Golden Guitar nominations, and once again he’s jumped straight to the top with his latest track Come Turn Me On.

Smashing its way to #2 on the National Country Charts and Music Networks Country Hot 50, Written by Casey and Nashville-based songwriting duo Brown + Gray (who also co-wrote Casey’s number one singles Sparks Fly and We’re Good Together) and produced by production duo MSquared in Australia, a pounding beat and hooky guitars characterise this enticing track.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the song, Casey explains, “I’d like to think that we’re trying to shape our unique sound at the moment. I don’t really want to sound like anyone else… With this single, it has that blend of modern country meets commercial pop, which I’ve really connected with over the last few years.  The song is about a guy who’s basically travelled around the world, seen his fair share of girls, but nothing compares to coming home to the one he loves.”
