Catch Mojo Juju this week at NightQuarter

Cutting into the scene and making a name for herself on the Australian touring circuit in the late 2000s, Mojo Ruiz de Luzuriaga, aka Mojo Juju

Cutting into the scene and making a name for herself on the Australian touring circuit in the late 2000s, Mojo Ruiz de Luzuriaga, aka Mojo Juju has been bringing us all amazing stories in many forms but with her latest studio album Native Tongue, we’re all in for a treat.

Native Tongue is exactly that; through the telling of family history and her own personal experiences, Juju explores her relationships with Elders and Ancestry and how that informs her own identity, along with her relationships with those members of her family.

Her music is powerfully emotive and tells a story that can only be experienced through that reverence and unique experiences.

No wonder she’s up for 3x Aria Awards 4x The Age Music Victoria Awards and 1x NLMA Award.

Join Mojo on tour and support some good with her joining forces with PLUS1, a charity that supports Aboriginal Legal Service, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People to provide culturally appropriate legal services, influence positive change, and increase access to justice. For each ticket sold, there will be $1 added on which will go towards PLUS1 to help make a difference.

You can catch her this Friday at NightQuarter with a special FREE event
