We’re in a celebratory mood, and we’re not the only ones, We recently got to spend some time and kick back and take in the fresh new digs at the Brisbane Marriott, Who are gearing up to celebrate their 21st birthday and their recent 20 million dollar refurbishment.
The Hotel is part of a movement breathing new life into some of the cities iconic landmarks, only steps away from the Howard Smith Wharves and Petries Bight Precinct which makes it the perfect stay for seasoned travellers or those weekend Staycationers stopping in to spend some time in the city.

The properties recent renovations have seen the hotels two hundred sixty-seven rooms and suites and signature restaurant all transformed to a modern level of luxury the Marriott is known for worldwide.
The hotel is also set to celebrate its coming of age this year turning 21, with its new feel and style that signifies the property and the city of Brisbane’s transition to a vibrant and social entertainment hub.
We spent the night in the river city for our event commitments for Miss Universe Australia, and at the end of the night we retired back to the hotel kicked up our feet. Morning arrives and being an early riser I awoke to the stunning sunrise across Brisbane beaming down onto the Storybridge and the city skyline and splashed across the iconic Kangaroo Point Cliffs.
The rooms are nicely appointed with all the creature comforts, grand bed heads, plenty of space and soothing earthy tones and textured furnishings that look amazing with that sunrise or sunset and all the tech inclusions for the modern traveller.
Brisbane Marriott General Manager, John Douglas said careful consideration was given to the hotel’s unique natural and historic surroundings, and these details were effortlessly incorporated it into the new design to create a sensory experience for our guests.
