Chet Faker has added two more stops to his upcoming Australian tour, with headline shows in Brisbane and Sydney now locked in for March 2026.
The critically acclaimed singer-songwriter will perform at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Tuesday 3 March before heading to Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 4 March. The shows join previously announced dates in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth as part of Faker’s A Love For Strangers global tour.
The tour coincides with the release of his highly anticipated new album, A Love For Strangers, due out on February 13 via BMG. The record follows 2021’s Hotel Surrender and is being described as a personal rediscovery for Nick Murphy, the ARIA-winning songwriter, musician and producer behind the Chet Faker moniker.
That sense of reflection reportedly deepened after the 10-year anniversary of his debut full-length, Built on Glass, the sensational album that launched his career into the stratosphere. Lead singles ‘Far Side of the Moon’ and ‘This Time For Real’ have already given fans a taste of what to expect from the new material.
Beyond Australian shores, Faker has announced a 21-date North American run spanning April and May, followed by European shows in July. The Brisbane and Sydney performances will offer local fans an intimate opportunity to experience a striking new chapter from one of the country’s most singular and influential artists.
