Coastal Property Agents Toasts Big Year at Langham Gala

Coastal Property Agents marked a record year at a black-tie gala at the Langham Gold Coast, honouring top agents and a $3.53 billion result.

More than 250 guests filled The Langham, Gold Coast on Thursday 23 July as Coastal Property Agents celebrated its most successful year on record, a black-tie gala capping off a year in which the agency wrote $3.53 billion in sales and grew its market share to 12.41 per cent.

The night brought together the agency’s 140-plus agents from its five offices, alongside industry partners and clients, to mark performance across the 2025/26 financial year.

Tolemy Stevens of the Broadbeach office was named the agency’s number one sales agent for the year, ahead of Guy Powell in second place and Ed Cherry in third.

A market telling its own story

Managing Director Dane Atherton said the result reflected a Gold Coast property market that has been performing differently to the rest of the country.

“While the headlines have been telling one story about property in this country, the Gold Coast has been telling another. Our team wrote $3.53 billion in sales this year because buyers keep choosing this city and because our agents know it better than anyone. Tolemy’s year has been outstanding, but what I’m most proud of is the depth behind him,” Atherton said.

Credit across the team

Sales Director Rob Forde said the results reflected the effort of the wider team rather than any one person.

“Every one of these results came from someone answering the phone on a Sunday and doing the work. The gap between first, second and third was tight all year, and that is a good sign. It means the whole team is pushing,” Forde said.

Guests were entertained on the night by the Hamilton Band.

The gala also marked Coastal Property Agents’ second consecutive REIQ Sales Agency of the Year title. The independent agency runs five offices across the Gold Coast, spanning sales, property management, commercial and prestige divisions.
