Coldplay Announces Australian-Exclusive Show in Perth on Music of The Spheres World Tour

Don't miss Coldplay's exclusive one-off concert in Perth, Australia on their Music of The Spheres World Tour, featuring special performances by Australian singer-songwriters Amy Shark and Thelma Plum.

Coldplay fans in Australia have a lot to look forward to as the band is set to hold an exclusive show in Perth as part of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. This much-anticipated event will take place on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Perth’s Optus Stadium. The show is expected to attract thousands of fans to Western Australia, injecting millions of dollars into the local economy.

The Western Australian Government, through Tourism WA, and Live Nation are partnering to bring this history-making event to fruition. The concert will feature some of Australia’s biggest talents, including Amy Shark and Thelma Plum, who will perform standalone sets before Coldplay takes the stage.

The pre-sale for tickets starts on Monday, May 15, at 10 am, and runs until Tuesday, May 16, at 9 am. Fans can sign up to participate in the pre-sale on the event’s website. General public tickets will be available for purchase on Tuesday, May 16, at 10 am at livenation.com.au.

Coldplay expressed their excitement about the upcoming show, saying, “We’re so happy to be returning to Perth for an extra special one-off show at Optus Stadium on November 18th this year. It’s a huge deal for us, and we’re massively looking forward to coming back to Western Australia. It’s been way too long.”

The WA Deputy Premier, the Hon. Roger Cook, echoed their excitement and said, “This drawcard event is all part of the WA Government’s and Tourism WA’s new major events strategy, to bring incredible events to the state that entice visitors to travel to Western Australia and enjoy all WA – the Dream State – has to offer.”

After a triumphant 2022 where Coldplay sold more concert tickets than any other artist and broke attendance records worldwide, the iconic band – who won Tour of The Year at the 2023 iHeartRadio Awards – will bring their spectacular stadium show, bursting with lasers, fireworks, and LED wristbands to Perth. Fans can expect classic hits such as “Yellow,” “Viva La Vida,” “Clocks,” “A Sky Full Of Stars,” and “My Universe.”

The Music of The Spheres World Tour has already sold over six million tickets across Europe, North America, and Latin America since kicking off in March 2022. Fans and critics alike have been raving about the show, with The Times calling it ‘the greatest live music show ever’ and the Dallas Observer acclaiming the visuals as “mind-blowing.”

This Australian-exclusive performance will be promoted alongside hotel packages designed to encourage visitors to stay longer and explore the area. It promises to be an unforgettable night that will leave Coldplay fans with memories that will last a lifetime.

The band has just announced a second Perth Show, The new show for Sunday, November 19 will go onsale at 10am, Tuesday, May 16.
