COMMAND Q is made up of: Shaun Pickett and Louis Frere-Harvey, two down to earth guys who love music and love performing. Their music and performance is genuinely intended to get you moving, return to your more tribal and animalistic state, with no care for vanity: “throw yourself around until you release the real you.” This is their #1 aim for the crowd at each show and in the music they create. COMMAND Q are WAAPA graduates in Classical music, percussion. Both being long term school teachers (Percussion) & involved in theatre (scoring music). COMMAND Q “emerging from the shadows,” or “set to take the music industry by storm,” speaks no justice to what COMMAND Q has invested in a relentless focus on altering the way that electronic dance music is performed. With the duo’s wealth of experience and extensive training in musical performance, Shaun and Louis combine on stage in what is touted as being a truly captivating show. Their high energy and unique live show fuses numerous percussion, vocal & DJ elements; which serve to draw the crowd into a seething mass of people. 2015 ended on a massive high for the boys, after their track ‘D1LL1GAF’ was played by DIPLO at every capital city within Australia, during theStereosonic tour. Not to mention the unprecedented start to 2016, which saw united forces Dillion Francis and Flosstradamus AKADILLSTRADAMUS, opening their set on ‘HOLY SHIP 2016’ with ‘D1LL1GAF.’ On top of this, Jack U? played D1LL1GAF during their Lollalooza Brazil set. Other support includes: RL GRIME, Alison Wonderland, TWRK, Party Favour + many more. 2016 has seen a number of releases for COMMAND Q. One in particular being the major release of two tracks, D1LL1GAF and it’s sibling D1LL1GAF VIP, via DIPLO’s MAD DECENT empire and new sub-label GOOD ENUFF. There’s no slowing down though; following on from official tour supportShockOne’s Australian tour in early 2016, COMMAND Q’s own headline tour kicks off in late July. With shows all around Australia and across to NZ. The tour is in support of their forthcoming, and highly anticipated ‘We Are Animals EP.’ All that we ask is that your hands remain inside at all times and to remember your asthma inhaler. COMMAND Q are not taking you on a ride, but in fact an odyssey of BASS with diabolical concern to one’s own ears; as COMMAND Q WHAM their skill set of talent into your lives. ?Q – Works every time….
