In this, the 93rd day of April 2020 we are certainly ready for 2020 to be in the rearview and the people at Falls Festival have surely given us all something to look forward to.
Today announcing that they are working towards one limited edition All Australian Falls Festival lineup to send 2020 off with a big middle finger and start 2021 in the most patriotic way ever.
“Australia is home to some of the most exciting acts in the world and we see this special ‘homegrown edition’ as the perfect opportunity to give back to the Australian music industry who have been doing it tough through this COVID vortex.
It will ensure that money stays in our local economy, providing a maximum financial benefit to the legends that make up our beloved Australian music community. That’s all the artists, management, crew, agents, roadies, production etc – as well as the thousands of contractors and suppliers who rely on this event for their income.
Falls Festival will also help raise funds for Support Act which provides essential services to our music industry workers. Support Act has been inundated with requests recently from workers who have been severely impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Health and safety is always our number one priority, so as the recovery process begins and more information becomes available, we will continue working with and taking direction from the health authorities.
But today we’re letting you know that while we’re living in strange times, we’re choosing the bright side. We can’t wait to celebrate an all Aussie edition of Falls Festival Dec
