We are taking you on the first look at Conrad Gargett’s latest interior designs for Aalto, the stunning thirty-eight-story beachfront oasis set for Garfield Terrace.
The boutique luxury residential tower has secured $ 30 million dollars of sales within the first week and features two, three and four-bedroom residences alongside hotel-style amenities, including a lounge with dedicated bar and dining, lobby and concierge services, gym and yoga studio, private pools, conference room and two oceanfront pools.
Conrad Gargett’s Interiors team worked closely alongside the practice’s Architecture team to conceive seamless and refined interiors that reference the coastal landscape and Gold Coast Hinterland in materiality and form.
“Aalto’s interior identity is one of effortless luxury, celebrating grand volumes and featuring a refined and soothing palette of blonde timber tones with light wall finishes, paired with contrasting natural stone and metal accents,” said Conrad Gargett Senior Interior Designer, Jade Taniora.
“Context was always a primary guiding principle for the interiors materiality. We had studied the immediate Gold Coast shoreline with its iconic tidal sand formations, while also exploring its complex urban scape and history of material expression,” he added.
The designs of the property explore the transition from the lobby to the residences, and the intimate details of arriving home have been carefully considered.
“Understanding the process of arriving, even from the exterior, is a precursor to the interior experience and where the synergy between Conrad Gargett Architecture and Interiors is fully expressed,” said Jade.
According to Conrad Gargett Director John Flynn, the apartments take full advantage of Aalto’s prime aspect. “The apartments have three orientations to enjoy the morning sunrise over the ocean, evening sunsets over the hinterland and amazing views to the Gold Coast skyline to the north and south at night,” John said.
Each apartment has access to 12 to 24 metres of ocean frontage, which according to Patrick Pancur, Head of Sales, is much more than the typical six to eight metres on offer in other beachfront developments.
