The Star Gold Coast has just announced the opening of the Star Residences the stunning new apartment-style accommodation located on the upper floors of the precinct’s new 53-storey tower,
The residences are made up of 422 modern one and two-bedroom apartments, available for short-term stays, long-term rentals and permanent residency. Taking the accommodation offerings at The Star Gold Coast to over 1,100 rooms are all part of the $2 billion dollar masterplan.
The apartments were designed by local architect Cottee Parker, created to meet the needs of modern travellers who are wanting the comforts of home with the amenities of a world-class resort.
Light-filled spacious apartments with neutral colour palettes and sleek modern furnishings offer sweeping views of the stunning Gold Coast skyline, hinterland or coastline views, and a fully functioning kitchen, lounge room, laundry facilities, and Wi-Fi.
Chief Operating Officer of The Star Gold Coast Jessica Mellor says of the launch, “the opening of The Star Residences marks a huge milestone in the expansion of The Star Gold Coast and introduces an entirely new world of possibilities for leisure and corporate travellers looking to make the most of our coastal lifestyle.”
“Whether you’re a family looking for a longer-term holiday destination or travelling to the Gold Coast for business, our new serviced apartments provide the best of both worlds – the convenience of home amenities, plus a full suite of bars, restaurants and entertainment on your doorstep.”
“We’ve already seen fantastic pick-up of the new apartment-style offering with our first short-term guests checking into their apartments today and a strong pipeline of bookings. Equally exciting is the concept that we will welcome our first permanent residents to the Island who will live like they’re on holiday year-round.
People staying at The Star Residences can also take advantage of a dedicated leisure deck on Levell 20, a private haven with a resort-style pool, sun lounges, spa, sauna, and a fully equipped gym, yoga, and pilates studio.
Or you could sit poolside with a great book and take in the stunning city views and sunshine only the Gold Coast has to offer.
The Star Residences takes the current accommodation options at The Star Gold Coast, including those at The Star Grand, The Darling and the Dorsett Gold Coast hotels, to over 1,100 rooms. As part of its $2 billion master plan and continued investment into the local tourism industry, the resort is also expecting to open a second $400 million 63-storey tower featuring 457 one, two- and three-bedroom apartments in 2024.
