This morning the group took to social media to announce in the wake of Taylor Hawkins’s passing that they would be cancelling all upcoming Foo Fighters tour dates.

The band’s statement reads, “It is with great sadness that Food Fighters confirm the cancellation of all upcoming tour dates in light of the staggering loss of our brother Taylor Hawkins. We’re sorry for and share in the disappointment that we won’t be seeing one another as planned. Instead, let’s take this time to grieve, to heal, to pull our loved ones close, and to appreciate all the music and memories we’ve made together.

With Love,
Foo Fighters “

There’s been no official statement from organisers regarding the range of 2023 tour dates set down for Australia. Still, one can assume these will be cancelled or at the very least postponed indefinitely until the future of the Foo Fighters is clear….
