Gold Coasters looking to kickstart their 2026 adventure plans can head to People First Stadium at Carrara this weekend when the Let’s Go Gold Coast Caravan and Outdoor Expo rolls into town.
Running from Friday, 6 February until Sunday, 8 February, the Gold Coast’s largest caravanning event brings together more than 100 leading RV brands including caravans, motorhomes, hybrids and camper trailers.
An array of outdoor and offgrid accessory exhibitors will also be on site, making it an ideal opportunity for travellers to upgrade their setup ahead of the autumn touring season.
Caravanning Queensland CEO Jason Plant said the expo offers a unique opportunity for southern Queensland and northern New South Wales adventurers to shop local and get expert advice.
“We know Aussies love their road trips, even more so when the weather starts to cool down south and Queensland’s northern warmth appeals, and this Expo is where the next adventure begins,” Mr Plant said.
“Our industry events like the Let’s Go Gold Coast Caravan and Outdoor Expo are the perfect place to meet established and well-regarded brands, discuss manufacturing capabilities, lead times and have all your RV questions answered by industry experts and fellow travellers.
“Whether you’re planning an Easter getaway, a winter escape up north, or dreaming of a lap around Australia, visitors can browse hundreds of models, compare features side-by-side, and take advantage of exclusive show specials.”
Beyond browsing the latest caravans, motorhomes and outdoor gear, visitors can explore a range of interactive experiences and expert demonstrations throughout the weekend.
Daily VANSafe Masterclasses led by industry experts will break down the essentials of towing vehicle and caravan weights, safe loading and driver tips through the Talking Towing sessions. Attendees who participate go in the draw to win a CIL Prize Pack valued at $1,595 RRP.
Prize giveaways include two $500 fuel vouchers drawn twice daily, plus $5,000 off a purchased RV drawn daily.
Kids’ activities and food trucks round out the family-friendly offerings.
