Pack your bags and sort out your road trip playlists because Triple J is taking its legendary One Night Stand back to regional New South Wales. For the first time in over a decade, the beloved music event is hitting the regions, with Griffith locked in as the host town for Saturday, 5 September.
A Major Win for Regional NSW Regional NSW has been waiting patiently for the return of the One Night Stand since the Dubbo event back in 2013. Located in the vibrant Riverina Region on Wiradjuri Country, Griffith is known for its rich agricultural heritage, sweeping citrus orchards and a buzzing community spirit.
Now, the local council is opening its doors to music lovers from across the country. If you are planning to travel to the Griffith Showground, you are looking at a four hour drive from Canberra, a five hour trip from Melbourne and roughly a six hour drive from Sydney.
The 2026 One Night Stand Lineup: Who is Playing?
This year’s edition of the festival is well worth the wait. Griffith is gearing up to host an incredible mix of internationally acclaimed talent and local favourites.
The stacked roster features Hottest 100 winners DMA’S, renowned performer Genesis Owusu, internationally acclaimed producer Ninajirachi, award winning indie rockers Beddy Rays and alt pop standout MAY-A. In true Triple J fashion, a yet to be announced local Unearthed competition winner will also score the massive opportunity to share the stage with these major artists.

If you are keen to secure your spot, tickets go on sale at 9am AEST today. They are highly affordable, priced at just $15 plus booking fee for those over 16, and $10 plus booking fee for under 16s.
The One Night Stand is an all-ages, drug and alcohol free event, making it safe and accessible for the whole community. It is also an event with a strong focus on giving back. All ticket proceeds will be donated to the Australian music industry charity Support Act, the youth music charity The Push, and the local Griffith Aboriginal Medical Service. A portion of the funds will also go towards youth led initiatives in Griffith itself, specifically shaped by young people in the local area.
