Heaps Good is back, bigger and living up to its name with a lineup that’s set to bring the party to South Australia, Victoria, and Queensland over the 2023/2024 New Year period.

After a stellar Adelaide debut earlier this year, the one-day festival is expanding to take in Melbourne’s Sidney Myer Music Bowl & Surrounds on New Year’s Eve and Sandstone Point on Tuesday 2 January, before heading home to Adelaide Showground on Saturday 6 January. British rockers Foals are also joining the party, boasting a UK #1 album, five Top 3 records, and the 2020 BRIT Award for Best Group. Foals have topped the bill at Glastonbury, Latitude, and Reading and Leeds Festivals for a second time just last month, and now it’s Heaps Good’s turn. There are few living musicians as influential and wholly original as The Avalanches. Their 2000 debut album Since I Left You laid the blueprint for the future of sample-based music in the 21st century, they’ve released cult-famous mixtapes and records since and have performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world. It’s sure to be one joyous occasion when The Avalanches bring their raucous live show to Heaps Good!

Declan McKenna will ignite stages in South Australia and Queensland with his euphoric set and feel-good tunes, while the new queen of British pop Griff impresses with her accomplished live show, proving why the Brit Award-winning artist is one of the UK’s biggest breakthrough acts right now. Holly Humberstone is also along for the ride, her bare all storytelling in tow. Another accomplished UK act, Humberstone has been nominated for two Ivor Novello Awards and won the BRIT Rising Star in 2022.

Homegrown hero MAY-A will hit Heaps Good with a fresh set of tracks, hot off the release of her sophomore EP Analysis Paralysis which dropped earlier this month, while Sycco aka First Nations artist/writer/producer Sash McLeod brings her pop-driven, psych-infused, dance-inducing electronica to Heaps Good 2023/2024. That’s after up-and-coming multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer, and songwriter Logan opens proceedings across all three dates.

Those in the OG city of Heaps Good are in for a special treat with the return of a dedicated dance stage, Sound Archive, ready to keep the party heaving at Adelaide Showground all night long. Presented by Divide, Sound Archive features bespoke design, top-tier production, and an endless rhythm provided by a stacked lineup of renowned electronic acts.
