Fresh off a capital city tour that powered his ARIA #1 album Good Life, Illy is far from winding down. Instead, the multi-platinum, ARIA Award-winning artist is taking things up a notch with an extensive regional run across Australia. The Good-er Life Tour, stretching from August to November, is set to bring his electrifying live set to 27 stops across ACT, NSW, TAS, QLD, WA, and VIC.

The tour opens Friday 1 August at UC Hub in Canberra and wraps up Saturday 1 November at The Setts in Mildura. For Illy, it’s a natural continuation of a show that’s found new life on the road.

“Finally getting to do the Good Life tour was, no shit, life affirming,” Illy says. “I loved every second of it… So now that we’ve got a taste for it, I am READY and counting down the days til the Good-er Life tour starts. We’re the most locked in we’ve been in years on stage, and when we’re in this mode, no one does it better.”

The regional leg follows the recent release of Good Life Deluxe Edition, which builds on the original fourteen tracks with new layers—adding 2023 single Hopeless featuring Indiana Massara, fresh track Free Hand, and acoustic takes on Kidsand the title song Good Life. It’s a reflection of the genre-fluid energy Illy brings to his work, fusing pop and hip hop with an eye for sonic evolution.

He’s teamed up with a strong crew of collaborators on the album, including Sofia Reyes, Johnny Took (DMA’s), Xavier Dunn, Kuren, Tones And I, Hevenshe, and Jungleboi—names that speak to the breadth of Illy’s creative alliances.

This tour’s announcement lands as a victory lap following years of steady milestones. Illy’s third ARIA nomination came via 2013’s Cinematic, which housed the triple-platinum Tightrope. He followed up with 2016’s Two Degrees, a #1 ARIA chart success that spawned huge collaborations like Papercuts ft. Vera Blue (5x platinum) and Catch 22 ft. Anne-Marie (3x platinum). The Space Between (2021) became his second #1 album, anchored by double-platinum single Then What.

Known for high-impact festival sets—think Falls Festival, Splendour In The Grass, Spilt Milk—Illy also made waves in 2023 when his Ausmusic Medley soared to #12 in triple j’s Hottest 100 of Like A Version.

Now, with the Good-er Life tour locked in, fans in regional towns from Port Macquarie to Hobart to Bunbury can get a taste of a Illy at full momentum.

“Get involved, see you there. Can’t wait,” Illy adds.
