It’s that wonderful time of year when Angels Sparkle and that sense of cheer fills the air…. yes we’re obviously talking about the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show…. returning to New York…
Victoria’s Secret’s legendary Angels have taken to the runway filming the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Holiday special, with an all-star lineup of musical guest, including Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, Halsey, Kelsea Ballerini, Leela James, Rita Ora, Shawn Mendes and The Struts.
Merging the realms of fashion and fantasy the special is set to air Sunday, December 2nd in the US, so that’s a Monday here but take some time off to watch.
The world’s biggest fashion show returned to New York City with fanfare that only Victoria’s Secret can muster and it was good to see the show home, after recent showings in Paris, Shanghai and London.
“The show is a year-long production, and 2018 promises to be our most ambitious yet,” said Victoria’s Secret executive producer Ed Razek. “We have more musical guests, more fashion and more stories than ever; and, of course, 60 of the world’s top models.”
It was the woman who in every way defines the modern Supermodel Adriana Lima’s last walk for the brand after a three-year hiatus also joining her on the runway are Angels Candice Swanepoel, Elsa Hosk, Jasmine Tookes, Josephine Skriver, Lais Ribeiro, Martha Hunt, Romee Strijd, Sara Sampaio, Shanina Shaik Stella Maxwell and Taylor Hill with internationally known sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, and Tv’s Kendall Jenner.
The Angels’ runway makeup featured sultry brown eyes achieved with Charlotte Tilbury’s Bigger Brighter Eyes in Exagger-eyes, soft brows with Victoria’s Secret Brow or Never, high-impact lashes using Victoria’s Secret’s Major Lashes, a bronze, dewy complexion with Charlotte Tilbury’s Filmstar Bronze & Glow and Wonderglow, and a balmy nude pout achieved by Victoria’s Secret Velvet Lip Matte in Showstopper.

Glam Royale
The irreverence of the Landed gent1y girl, posh and punky. An exploration of tartan. Connected to the element of royalty without the pomp and ceremony. Versace, Westwood and McQueen.
Golden Angel
A mixture of rich brocades and lace with an urban fashion twist. Foiled detailing with 3-dimensional gold embroidery. Gucci, Etro, Prada, Dolce, Off-White and tribute t-shirts.
Flights of Fancy
Feminine, sparkle, romantic, sherbet tones, lots of diamond embroidery. Valentino Couture, Schiaparelli, Francesco Scognamiglio, Nude and pastels.
Pink
The more logos, the better with bold, bright neon colours, fun patterns and playful techno fabrics.
