Lewis Capaldi is Back: Announcing His 2025 Australia and New Zealand Tour!

After a two-year hiatus from the public eye, global superstar Lewis Capaldi is officially back and ready to charm audiences across Australia and New Zealand in 2025! Fans Down Under have been eagerly awaiting his return, and the wait is almost over, with tour dates set for November and December next year. This highly anticipated tour, presented by Secret Sounds, Live Nation, and WME, will see Capaldi performing in Christchurch, Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and Perth.

Lewis has truly made a magnificent return to the spotlight. He’s back in the charts with his massive new single, “Survive,” and he recently made headlines with a surprise, yet powerful, performance at Glastonbury Festival. These upcoming dates will mark Lewis’s first time returning to Australasia since his appearances at Falls Festival in 2019/20 and his Auckland Town Hall performance in 2019.

A Triumphant Return to the Stage

Capaldi’s Glastonbury Festival performance on Friday, 27th June, was a true highlight, with a headliner-sized Pyramid Stage crowd embracing his emotional emergence into the sunshine for a hit-laden half-hour. Lewis himself commented on his return, stating, “Second time’s a charm on this one. I just wanted to come and finish what I couldn’t finish last time.” And finish he did! His soaring vocals led the crowd through beloved classics like “Before You Go,” “Grace,” “Hold Me While You Wait,” and “Bruises.” He also debuted a first live showing of his new track, “Survive,” and delivered a unifying performance of “Someone You Loved.” It was a truly moving experience, with the notes stating, “There wasn’t a dry eye in the house.”

This triumphant return followed a series of Scottish warm-up shows in May, where Lewis returned to the stage as a guest of the mental health charity CALM, in celebration of Mental Health Awareness Week. These shows were crucial, providing Capaldi with the space to assess his comfort and emotional response before stepping back into the full glare of the spotlight. This strategic approach proved to be nothing short of a triumph.

Lewis’s new track, “Survive,” sees him reunited with close collaborator Romans, who also co-wrote his global megahit “Someone You Loved.” “Someone You Loved” achieved extraordinary success, turning 10x Platinum earlier this year. It’s also recognised as the UK’s most streamed song of all time and the world’s fourth highest ever streamed song. “Survive” itself carries a powerful message, proving that “even in the darkest moments, there’s still strength in showing up.”

Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent, secured his second UK number one album. This record also spawned three heartbreaking UK number one singles: “Pointless,” “Wish You The Best,” and the Platinum-certified “Forget Me.” For this album, Lewis collaborated with acclaimed hitmakers such as Max Martin (known for his work with Taylor Swift and The Weeknd), Malay (who has worked with Lorde and Frank Ocean), and his longtime collaborator Phil Plested (known for his contributions to James Bay and Bastille).

Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent was the release that propelled Lewis Capaldi from a bedroom musician to a global superstar. This debut was a phenomenon, becoming the biggest-selling UK album of both 2019 and 2020. It also produced two UK number one singles, garnered several BRIT Awards, and received a GRAMMY® nomination.

A Compelling Documentary and Tour Information

In April 2023, Netflix released Lewis’s compelling, raw, and honest feature-length, GRAMMY®-nominated music documentary,

Lewis Capaldi: How I’m Feeling Now. The documentary quickly soared to the top of the Netflix chart, becoming the most-watched film on the platform since its release. You can watch it on Netflix now.

After facing significant challenges, Lewis Capaldi returns with a renewed sense of purpose. As he embarks on this new era, Lewis is not just surviving; he is returning even stronger, with his heart wide open and ready to step out again.
