Jesinta Campbell and Lindy Klim only require a few simple words to describe the both of them, utterly gorgeous, passionate and genuine. These two unique Australian born personalities have very busy and demanding schedules with their shared passions for modeling, fashion and travel.
Lindy Klim grew up in Bali due to her family’s background, explaining her flawless olive toned skin and perfect model-like features. It’s no wonder she was a former runway model for major fashion houses such as Gucci and Chanel. The industry still can’t get enough of Klim, as she models for Australian brands such as Country Road and Witchery. Now, she is the creative director of her own lifestyle brand called Milk & Co and is also, unbelievably, a mother of three. Regardless of motherhood, Lindy Klim’s glamorous career continues, but with a juggling act involved to balance her life within the modern day world.
Another Australian beauty, whose daily life is anything but the norm, would be Jesinta Campbell. The Gold Coast raised model whose skin exudes a healthy glow and mane of hair that reflects a shiny caramel colour, unsurprisingly won the title of Miss Universe Australia in 2010. Ever since, many doors have opened for the young and passionate young woman including TV presenting for shows such as Weekend Today and Getaway, as well as being the ambassador for the Asics women’s apparel, Jeep and Crown Melbourne.
Despite both of these dedicated women having such organised and demanding calendars, they still find the time to give back to society and the problems that arise within it.
The renowned hair care brand Joico has enlisted Lindy Klim and Jesinta Campbell for the “Turning Heads” campaign, which highlights the ‘glamour in giving back’. This Christmas, a portion of in-salon gift set sales will be donated to the Starlight Foundation to enable the wishes of sick children to come true. The brand could not have chosen a better pair of ambassadors, as they radiate a strong sense of excitement for the campaign and for the cause that it is supporting.
“Being a mother of three children myself, I jumped at the opportunity to play a small part in brightening the lives of sick children. Rather than a simple donation, those buying the Christmas Gift Set end up with a fantastic product and the added knowledge that they are easing the burden on the life of a sick child and their family.” – Lindy Klim.
“Being able to combine the glamour of my job with raising awareness for the Starlight Foundation is an extremely rewarding. I’m looking forward to the release of the campaign and doing what we can for the kids.” – Jesinta Campbell.
The extraordinary team that enabled and supported the campaign included industry professionals such as photographer Steven Chee, hairstylist Richard Kavanagh, makeup artist Max May and stylist Margaret Zhang. It’s no wonder that the final images are unmissable, as the enthusiasm, passion and eagerness towards the charity is portrayed through the photos alone. Lindy Klim and Jesinta Campbell are the perfect role models for both the younger generations and the children of the Starlight Foundation.
Your support is greatly appreciated, so join the two ambassadors and team behind the campaign to assure a life-changing organisation can enable children of the Starlight Foundation to have a healthy and wish-granted Christmas.
