For the first time, the Fashion Festival is proud to announce a Facebook Live Stream of every runway show. Produced in partnership with Brisbane City Council, the Live Stream will not only allow audiences to tune in from anywhere in Australia or around the globe; it will embrace a new dimension of technology that is being utilised by some of the world’s top fashion brands. What’s more, the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Festival Brisbane Live Streams will not simply include runway footage. Each film, professionally produced by TPD Media, will be hosted by Australian actress, model, TV presenter, and Miss World Australia for 2014, the gorgeous Courtney Thorpe. “MBFF is the most iconic event in the Brisbane fashion calendar, so to be part of its return this year is such an honour,” Miss Thorpe said. “We have incredibly talented members of the industry right here in Brisbane, so to be able to share that with a world of online viewers is really exciting. I also love that I will get to take viewers behind the scenes of the shows and give an all access view of this amazing event!” Viewers will enjoy an in-depth Fashion Festival experience each night, including access to some of the most exclusive areas. On-site at Old Government House, Courtney will take audiences backstage for a first look at the hair and makeup directions for the shows, by the Napoleon Perdis and Schwarzkopf Professional teams. Live Stream watchers are then invited inside the exclusive VIP Runway Lounge, where celebrities mingle with sponsors and fashion media pre-show.  Then, see every single outfit as the models strut the runway.
