This massive national tour spans five dates and features a multi-genre lineup that highlights the best in homegrown music. Fortunately for local fans, the Gold Coast is hosting one of the most anticipated stops, promising triple j audiences a chance to catch some of the most exciting names in local music.
The Gold Coast show will be headlined by the incredible Mallrat. Known for delivering timeless pop, Mallrat is an ARIA Platinum-certified artist and an adored singer-songwriter-producer. Her set promises to be a highlight of the five-date tour. The Gold Coast celebration is scheduled for Thursday, 27 November. The show will be held at the popular Miami Marketta. The lineup supporting Mallrat is stacked, ensuring a fantastic night of Australian talent. Joining the headliner are Darcie Haven, Jem Cassar-Daley, and Lottie McLeod. Keeping the energy high throughout the evening will be Triple J’s hosts, Abby & Tyrone. Please note that the Gold Coast venue has an age restriction of Ages 16+.

Around the Country: Other Stops on the Triple J 50th National Tour
While the Gold Coast is thrilled to host Mallrat, the entire five-date tour is packed with huge names across the country, celebrating a great line-up of Australian music.
The tour kicks off on Saturday, 15 November, in Hobart (Nipaluna), featuring the internationally acclaimed singer-songwriter and guitarist Courtney Barnett. She will be joined by artists including Luca Brasi and Emily Wurramara.
The action continues the following week with two major stops: Newcastle (Awabakal): On Friday, 21 November, the indie-rock outfit Teen Jesus and The Jean Teasers, an ARIA Award-winning group, will headline the show at King Street. Supporting acts include The Grogans and South Summit.
Adelaide (Kaurna): Saturday, 22 November, sees a huge homecoming event at The Gov featuring the ARIA Award-winning singer, songwriter, and rapper Tkay Maidza. Her lineup features BARKAA, Nerve, and Zion Garcia.
Finally, the national celebration wraps up the day after the Gold Coast show in Torquay (Wadawurrung) on Friday, 28 November. The final stop will be headlined by Ninajirachi, who is set to deliver a signature electronic set that promises to be one of the month’s most memorable performances, rounding out her breakout 2025.
