The 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 is set to be supercharged with an electrifying new fan experience through the introduction of the all-new Monster Energy Compound. Running from October 24–26, the event marks the opening round of the inaugural Supercars Finals series, ensuring high-stakes racing action is matched by a spectacular atmosphere.
The iconic Monster Energy brand will take over the final corner of the Surfers Paradise Street Circuit, promising to deliver a high-energy mix of motorsport, music, and entertainment across all three days.
The Ultimate Trackside Party
The Monster Energy Compound, a concept used successfully worldwide (most recently at MotoGP’s Catalunya Grand Prix in Barcelona), is positioned atop the hill at Turn 14. This location offers fans a unique vantage point to catch all the racing action.
Designed as the Ultimate Fan Zone, the Compound is open to all fans and will feature a pool party, DJs, meet and greets with Monster Girls, and motorsport demonstrations from Monster Energy athletes.
Matt Ramsden, Event Manager for the Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500, emphasized the focus on fan engagement, stating that this year’s event is “all about elevating the fan experience, and the Monster Energy Compound is a perfect example of that”. Ramsden believes the precinct atop the hill is “already one of the best spots to enjoy the action,” and predicts it will be an even greater draw with Monster Energy entertainment and appearances throughout the event. He expects the Compound to be a “standout feature of the precinct”.
Drifting Sensations and Supercars Stakes
The Compound will host non-stop Monster Energy action both on and off the track. Highlighting the entertainment schedule is British drifting sensation Steve “Baggsy” Biagioni, who will bring his fire-breathing Nissan GT-R R-I all the way from the UK for light-up entertainment sessions featuring his signature sideways style.
Joining the action is Queensland’s own “Luxifer” Kyle Douglas, who will perform tyre-torching burnout displays throughout the weekend in his Toyota Hilux.
On the circuit, fans will be familiar with drivers such as Cam Waters in the Monster Energy Ford Mustang. Waters and other Gold Coast race winners from the last two years will be among the 10 drivers vying for this year’s championship when the all-new Supercars Finals series begins.
World-Class Post-Race Music
The high-energy continues after the racing concludes, with post-race musical entertainment scheduled for Macintosh Island’s Boost Mobile HQ.
• On Friday night, DJs Stafford Brothers and Brooke Evers will take the stage.
• On Saturday night, international electronic act Groove Armada will thrill fans.
The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 will be held October 24–26 and will be broadcast live on Foxtel and the Seven Network. The event is supported by the Queensland Government, through Tourism and Events Queensland’s Major Events Program and Experience Gold Coast. Tickets are available now through Supercars.com and Ticketek.com.
