Following the band’s latest sell-out ‘Later Straya’ tour in August, Melbourne-based Northeast Party House are preparing to head overseas – taking their unique brand of “guitar soaked dance tunes” to the world for the first time. In between touring commitments Northeast Party House have been busy writing and demoing for album number two. ‘Perfect Lines’, is the first taste of their sophomore album scheduled for release in early 2016. The track was recently added to triple j high rotation and now has an accompanying VIDEO to boot – directed by Benjamin Evans of Graetzmedia.
The band debut their international career in America, performing two shows in LA, as part of the Culture Collide Festival. They then head off for a string of shows in New York at CMJ before heading over the Atlantic for a sell-out show in London Wed Oct 21- Sebright Arms, followed by a headlining slot at the famed Club NME at Koko’s Friday, October 23rd. The band then makes their way to Germany, having been invited by renowned Berlin radio station FluxFM, to perform FluxFM sessions Wednesday, Oct 28th and round out there inaugural world tour in the picturesque city of Prague, playing Nouvelle Prague Fri Nov 6.
On top of all of this success, Northeast Party House has secured the UK booking representation in renowned international live music bookers, Free Trade Agency, London. With a current roster that includes Happy Mondays; Wilco; The National and The Flaming Lips, the performance opportunities for the Melbourne outfit are about to reach new heights!
