Paramore, the Grammy Award-winning US trio consisting of Hayley Williams, Zac Farro, and Taylor York, will be making their way to Australia and New Zealand this November. This visit comes after their successful tour dates in 2018, during which they played sold-out shows along the East Coast.
Joined by special guest Remi Wolf, Paramore will be performing at Auckland’s Spark Arena on Saturday, November 18, followed by shows at Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Wednesday, November 22, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Monday, November 27. In addition, they will be visiting Sydney’s iconic Domain on Saturday, November 25, where they will be treating their fans to a special night of music under the stars. This will be their largest headline show in Australia to date.
Notably, a portion of the ticket sales for these shows will be donated to leading food rescue organizations, OzHarvest in Australia and KiwiHarvest in New Zealand. This initiative aims to reduce food waste and bring about positive social change.
For Frontier Members, pre-sale tickets will be available from Monday, July 3, starting at 10 am AEST. General public sales will begin on Thursday, July 6, also at 10 am AEST. Further details can be found at frontiertouring.com/paramore.
The band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, “This Is Why,” was released in February and received tremendous support from fans and critics alike. It topped the charts in Australia and the UK. NME described it as “bold reminder of how limitless Paramore can be,” with Louder Sound declaring Paramore as “the most vital rock band of their generation.” This album showcases the trio’s fearless songwriting and marks their first full-length release since 2018. The title track earned them their first No.1 at US Alternative Radio and was voted the Hottest Record Of The Year by BBC Radio One listeners in the UK.
Currently touring across North America, Paramore has had an eventful start to 2023. They embarked on a South American tour in March, joined Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour for two nights in Arizona, played two sold-out shows at Madison Square Garden in June, and recently amazed crowds at Bonnaroo when Hayley Williams surprised everyone by joining Foo Fighters on stage for a rendition of ‘My Hero!’
Over the past few years, Paramore’s influence and popularity have grown exponentially. The age of streaming has propelled them into a position as one of the world’s biggest and most culturally significant rock bands. Originating from Tennessee as teenagers, the band has now become bona fide pop culture icons, inspiring a new generation of musical talent and leaving an indelible mark on the musical landscape.
