This morning Gold Coasters have a reason to rejoice as Sir Paul McCartney has announced he will be bringing his highly acclaimed “Got Back” tour to the Gold Coast this November. The Australian Tour will kick off with an intimate arena show in Adelaide, which is surely to hold special significance for McCartney as it marks his return to Australia for the first live performances in six years and its where The Beatles made history in 1964 during their first visit to Australia. An astonishing 350,000 people gathered to catch a glimpse of the iconic band, lining the streets between the airport and Town Hall. 

From Adelaide McCartney will take the stage in Melbourne, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane before his final show on the Gold Coast at Heritage Bank Stadium on November 4. ?This is the first time for the legendary rocker coming to the Gold Coast,known for his remarkable music career, Paul McCartney is undeniably one of the most successful singer-songwriters and performers of all time.
