Recipe To Riches, TEN’s innovative new entertainment series, with her original culinary creation, Sara-Jade’s Chilli Con Carne. Recipe to Riches’ second episode, ‘The Freezer’, delivered a heated battle to win the experts’ taste buds, and their shrewd commercial judgement. Sara-Jade’s Chilli Con Carne outperformed Victorian contestant Christine Tanner’s Vindaloo Sauce and Erin Chapman from New South Wales with her creation of Maple Macadamia Ice Cream. Sara-Jade is now in the running to secure the Recipe to Riches grand prize of $100,000 along with a partnership with Woolworths that could change her life. Flight attendant Sara-Jade grew up with a large extended family and has fond childhood memories of her grandma cooking chilli in her old casserole cooker. A lover of 1950’s fashion, Sara-Jade has evolved this recipe into a modern classic with deliciously exotic authentic herbs, spices and organic corn chips. Based on a much-loved home recipe, Sara-Jade’s deliciously exotic chilli con carne will hit Woolworths stores nationwide tomorrow (Wednesday, September 4) and will be on sale for a limited time only.
